Accreditation and License

TheNational Association for the Education of the Young Children accredits our preschool program. We have enjoyed accreditation since 1992. We're also licensed by the state of Texas.

We offer a developmentally appropriate preschool with large classrooms arranged in learning centers. We have 10 classes consisting of 11 children in each three year old class and 12 children in each four year old class. Each class has a lead teacher and a teaching assistant. We have exciting special events such as a Thanksgiving Feast, Rodeo, Cowboy Cookout, Fiesta, Water Play Day, as well as our scheduled P.E., Music, Chapel, and much more! Preschool and KDO Hosting Golf Tournament, “Tee It Up Fore Tots!”
That’s right! A real golf tournament! The preschool has the good fortune to have a connection with the individual who organizes the big golf tournaments in San Antonio and many large cities.  He suggested we have a golf tournament, under his guidance, as our fundraiser instead of the usual school fundraisers!

The golf tournament, Tee It Up Fore Tots, will be held Sept. 29 at Olympia Hills.  There will be a hole in one prize of a new car; a $10,000 Team Putting Challenge, other team prizes, a buffet dinner, a silent auction and all that goes with a golf tournament.

We need sponsors and we need GOLFERS! There are brochures
on the Welcome Wagon. Sponsorships run from $100 to $5000! Individual golfers may enter for $125 or a team of four for $500. If you do not wish to sponsor or golf, but wish to make a tax deductible donation, you may send it to the preschool or Kids Day Out at 90 Winn, UC 78148.

We are raising funds to purchase educational equipment, fund teacher training, fund speakers for parenting classes and to bring teacher salaries closer to a living wage. We are hoping to create scholarships for children needing financial assistance for tuition, as well as create a crisis fund for families in need.  Our mission is to give every child experiences that lead to a love of God, a love of learning, a feeling of self worth, a respect of all people, and an opportunity to explore, create and discover as he learns about his world.  How great it would be to have our church families supporting us through sponsorship or golfing! Thank you!
