TAG (The Ageless Group)

For those of you who may not be familiar with TAG (The Ageless Group), we’re a fun-loving group of seniors (50 years and up) that normally meets the first Thursday of every month for lunch. Usually, our lunch is potluck style in Fellowship Hall, where everyone brings a covered dish; occasionally, we have lunch catered or meet at a local restaurant. Along with lunch, we typically have a program, which may be an informative speaker, entertainment, such as a music group that performs for us, or a fun activity.

Special thanks go to Laura Niland, accordionist extraordinaire, for the wonderful program she provided at our May TAG meeting!  In addition to enjoying a wide variety of music, we learned a little bit about accordions.   This month, we also had a TAG outing to the Bulverde S.T.A.G.E. Theater to see "The 1940's Radio Hour"--afun musical show portraying a New York City radio station in December of 1942.

As is our tradition, TAG will be taking a summer break with our next monthly gathering being in August.  We are in the process of planning our programs for the fall, so please let Betty Syvertson or Anita Springer know if there is an entertainer or speaker you would like us to invite to TAG.  We're also looking for outing ideas--restaurants, plays, concerts, or anything else that might be interest to you and fellow seniors .
