Vision

The Care Team’s vision… to take the word of Christ to the hospitalized and home-bound. The visits serve … First, to embrace those who are confined with words of comfort, assurance, and prayer. Second, the team serves as liaison between the home-bound and hospitalized, the pastors, and congregation for the sake of congregation-wide prayer and support when requested. Finally, the team continues to visit, pray, and assist connections for as long as Care Team recipients request.

Homebound visits include people in assisted living, nursing homes, or otherwise unable to attend church services and functions for reasons of illness, injury, or mobility challenges. Care Team members also offer Holy Communion when requested.
