Children are important to Jesus, which means children are important to us too!
Children’s Church was created with children age 4 through grade 5 in mind and provides an experience rich environment for the children to learn about God’s love.
The Children’s Church experience begins in worship with families sitting together. Early in the service, our Pastor will offer a Mini Message for the children which reflects the worship message of the day. Once done, children may return to their seats, or move with members of our Family Life Ministry Team to our Life Enrichment Center (LEC), where the children will have room to move and interact while learning with their hearts, minds, and hands. Children will return to the sanctuary during our closing hymn. Sometimes they will share what they’ve learned, sometimes they will sing a new song, sometimes they will recite a learned Bible verse, each time, they will receive the closing blessing with their families before going again into the world.

The “Maria Gaytan” Children’s Nursery
The nursery is designed for children, birth through age 3. Our doors open on Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. and we remain open until worship services conclude at noon.
Each Sunday children are greeted by a loving and experienced member of our Nursery Staff. If this is your first visit to our nursery, please complete our Nursery form so we might offer the best care possible for your child while they are our guest.
During their stay, your child will enjoy age appropriate curriculum and activity. Snacks are provided with parents permission.
The Nursery is located in The Life Enrichment Center that is located just behind the Sanctuary.

The youth are meeting at 10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall for lessons and refreshments while their regular gathering and classroom space undergo renovations for Creative Expressions! Coming Soon!

UCUMC Kids’ Day Out
Our mission is to support parents and children through a creative environment that promotes and teaches Christian values. We provide a loving, caring and safe environment. Our goal is to provide age appropriate activities that will help the children grow and learn through play while building their various motor skills. We want the parents to feel confident while leaving their children in our care and we want the children in our care to feel comfortable without their parents. Our program aims to enrich the life of each child so that he or she may have a happy first "school" experience.
