Children’s Sunday Ministry Opportunities

“We may be small, but we’re mighty with God”

We who serve in Children’s Ministries desire to help children grow in their faith by introducing them to Bible stories and rich experiences of what it means to be a part of the body of Christ. We do this on Sundays and through other opportunities. We lead by example. We share ourselves out of a desire to serve others. We invite you and your children to come along with us on this journey of faith. 

Nursery:

Because of COVID-19 - Our Nursery is currently postponed. We hope to open it soon

Our nursery is open and available for children between the ages of birth to 3 years of age from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm each Sunday morning. Your child will be greeted by a loving, experienced staff member and will enjoy participating in an age appropriate curriculum and craft. Snacks are provided. If this is your first time to use the nursery, please ask for a Children’s Ministry Registration Form and fill it out before you leave your child for the first time. We use a pager system so that we might alert you if your child needs you during their stay with us. The Life Enrichment Center is located just behind the Sanctuary.

Parenting in a Pandemic :  the perks, the pitfalls, and the prayers .

If you are feeling overwhelmed by all the balls you are juggling in the air right now – the childcare, your work, the virtual school,  and the perpetual hunt for disinfecting wipes, you are not alone.  If you would like a safe space to join in conversation about the best and worst of managing it all you are invited to join us for an open conversation about how we can best support each other in this very challenging time. 

All ages of parents  -  from preschool tantrums through high school AP classes – are welcome to participate as together we take this fall “bird by bird”.  There is much we can teach each other! 

Sara Holland will be hosting these round table discussions via zoom on Wednesday evenings, twice a month, at 7:30pm.  Please use the following zoom link and invite your friends.

Children’s Church:

Children’s Church is for children ages 4 years thru 5th grade! Every Sunday morning at 8:15 & 10:30 am they receive a Children’s Message during worship in person or online via our Live streaming of worship and then they can attend Children’s Church via Zoom at 11:00 am. Children’s Church gives our children their space to grow and develop their connection to Jesus. We get the opportunity to share unconditional love and tools to help grow them for a lifetime of connections to Christ. It's made so evident throughout the whole bible that children are important to Jesus which means they should be important to us, too!

Sara Holland will lead our children in stories and conversations that will follow the 10:30am worship children’s moment, and will expand upon whatever that scripture theme was for the week.  All of our children are invited to join her via the following zoom link:
