Wednesday, January 25 at 10:30am, we will host the Schertz Silver Serenaders (also inlcudes people from UCUMC) in our Sanctuary for a gospel music concert. After the Serenaders’ performance--for those who wish to stay--we will migrate to Fellowship Hall to enjoy a potluck lunch. Please spread the word! We hope to see you there!

The UCUMC Family Life Fall Festival is happening this Friday, October 21st from 5:30-8pm. A fun family event with many activities. The Fall Festival benefits the Preschool and Kids’ Day Out programs.
Our monthly Papa Dante's Spirit Night is coming up on Tuesday, October 4th from 11am to 6pm. Eat in or get it to go! Papa Dante's has supported the UCUMC Kids' Day Out and Preschool programs for many years!
School is back in session and the UCUMC Kids' Day Out and Preschool have several fundraising events that happen throughout the year! This coming Monday, September 19th, Mattenga's Pizzeria (in Schertz) is hosting a Spirit Night Fundraiser for the two programs. Mattenga's will donate 30% of the proceeds from sales between 5-8pm, dine in and pick up only!
Come and check out the Vendor Fair at Universal City United Methodist Church! The purpose of the monthly vendor fairs is to raise money that goes towards various local missions and missions abroad. It is a family event with fun activities, food and lots of vendors to browse! Come out and support local businesses and the UCUMC mission groups!

Come out and help us stuff the bus with needed school supplies! This Wednesday, July 27th, we are stuffing the backpacks after supper. Donations can be dropped off now through Wednesday, 9am -3pm. We will stuff the backpacks Wednesday after supper. Supper starts at 5pm.
UCUMC is kicking off it's first Harvest for Hope Vendor Fair on Saturday, July 16th! Proceeds from the Harvest for Hope fairs will go towards the various Mission Outreach programs that the Youth group, United Women in Faith and the United Methodist Men support. The Vendor Fairs will be every 3rd Saturday from 9am to 1pm on the UCUMC campus. Interested Vendors can fill out this application: Click for Vendor Application
The United Women in Faith is hosting a luncheon and fashion show this Saturday! Bring a $5 donation, your favorite salad to share and come enjoy the luncheon and Fashion show in the UCUMC Fellowship Hall. There will be door prizes and lots of fun!
The Ask-Seek-Know Adult Sunday school class will be starting a new study on Sunday, January 9 @ 9:45 in Room 13. The study is on the book of Isaiah. We'll be using Warren Wiersbe's Old Testament commentary book entitled "Be Comforted" as a framework for the study, but also drawing from material written by other authors. We occasionally listen to some familiar hymns or worship songs tied into the Scripture passages we're reading too! There's no homework. We will provide the reading materials that you need during class. Just show up with your Bible--or you can use one of the Bibles we have here at church. Our class time will focus on Bible reading and discussion.
Join us this Sunday, December 19, 2021! We will only have one service at 10:30am! There will be a special Lessons and Carols performance by our Choir. Afterwards, join us for a Christmas party in the Fellowship Hall. We will have cookies, cider and hot cocoa!

In the Garden, is a new idea at UCUMC. This class will cycle through variety of studies lead by a variety of faculty leaders. The upcoming session delves deeply in the Book of Genesis and Acts to explore questions of biblical identity and vocation. The Bible is the classroom text and discussion will be led by Rev. Deng.
