We have been able to worship safely throughout the COVID-19 pandemic because practicing safety, has been our way of practicing Christian love.   Currently:

  • Children’s gathering areas and nursery are sanitized after each gathering.

  • Socially distanced seating is available upon request during both worship services.

  • Masks are available at our worship center and office for those who wish to wear one. Hand sanitizer is also located in all gathering places.

  • Your choice to wear a mask, or not, will be respected.

  • Most of our congregation able to do so, have opted to vaccinate for their own safety and the safety of others.

  • We continue to pray for an end to the grip COVID-19 has in the world and our community.

Our Sunday Worship Services

8:30 am Traditional service of worship

If you love traditional worship, this may be your Sunday morning place to be. Steeped in Methodist tradition, the Lord’s Supper is celebrated each week. The liturgy is often sung. Our pastor’s preaching style weaves biblical text and life experience together in ways that are engaging and encourage the seasoned disciple’s journey.

11:00 AM- The well contemporary worship service

Every service at UCUMC is family friendly, but at our 11:00 service, extra attention is given to worshiping God in ways that resonate with every member of the family - from the youngest, to the most senior.

Prayer Ministry

All are called to pray. For some, there is a call to focus on the ministry of prayer for the world and all who live in it. We have such a community of prayer ministers at UCUMC.
